Hi There and Welcome to EFX makeup Studio.  My name is Francia Cohen and I am the Head Makeup artist and Art Director.  We are a team of women based in San Diego CA.  I started my career in front of the camera as a commercial model. I found myself intrigued  by the hair and makeup stylist.  That's what I wanted to do!!  After going to Cosmotology school and graduating top chair, I decided I also wanted to do makeup.  That lead to Glamour, photo shoots, and eventually doing Theatrical makeup.  I have also mastered the art of GORE!!  I love the challange and the constant learning of my craft.  To turn something that was once beautiful and make it HORRIFYING is truly amazing.  My team are amazing, talented women who I have the honor to work with.  We have experience in all types of makeup.
